We do not accept volunteers to work inside the prison or hospital with us. We have certified lactation professionals on staff, and the prison provides a health care professional for our clients. If you would like to volunteer for us in other ways, such as hosting a fundraiser, a diaper bag drive, or a recordable storybook drive, please visit our Support Our Work page for more information. You are welcome to submit any questions you have via the contact form, and we will follow up via email. We do not guarantee a specific timeline for responding, so please send questions at least a week before you may need responses. We will follow up via email if we can assist.

We are not offering internships at this time. If you are interested in receiving internship updates, choose the “Internship Waitlist” inquiry type in the contact form and let us know more about your interests and background.

We cannot assist with research project development at this time. If you want us to be aware of your research for future reference, you are welcome to share the details with us via our Contact Form.

You are welcome to send us an open-ended invitation with your contact information for any of our clients to reach out to you, should they feel able and ready to participate in a project such as the one you are working on. Choose the “Media Inquiry” option on the Contact Form and let us know the details of your project. We will keep it on file if our clients express an interest in telling their stories.

We encourage you to be ready to pay anyone that has experienced pregnancy in prison for their time and expertise. It is not an easy experience to talk about, and whatever they decide to do should benefit them directly.

We will respond as soon as possible, but we do not guarantee that we can meet your project’s timeline. While all nonprofits value publicity and raising awareness, there is an opportunity cost when we are not working directly with our clients or running the organization.
